The scenery was fantastic and it is very accessible to good hiking and touring
The reservation desk was slow and very confused with customers at the checkout
Very clean and nice rooms- restaurant and location are exellent
Hotel staff were neither friendly nor knowledgeable.
The view was beautiful, but the weather at this time of the year was bad(rainning), but with a good weather is perfect to disconect(no phone reception)
We did not like that we had to pay for the entrance to the park, because the hotel is in the park( $16 daily)
Spectacular views. Low key, small place, not crowded, friendly, very peaceful.
The food was great. The location (Waterton) was gorgeous.
The seasonal staff were all new and didn't have experience at running a hotel or serving at the restaurant. They tried to have us upgrade to a lakeview room. Some upgrade...the view of the lake is covered by trees.
Upper level felt safer.
Close to Watson Lake
200Can$ for a double room is way too much for the very used room.
Great location on the Lake. Restaurant has excellent food and if you are lucky the bar has live folk/country music on the weekends. Highly recommended.
The staff was absolutely the best. The service excellent and the views just unbelievable.
I liked the outdoor balcony, but disappointed in our view. we overlooked the parking lot.
The room was showing its age, but the staff kept it very clean. We had no microwave and/or refrigerator. The hotel provided no breakfast for its guests.
Location is great and the Chophouse for a great dinner.
Althought the place was very clean and there were new bathroom fixtures the structure is simply showing its age. Also the cottonwood trees that line the bank of the lake appear to be on their last days and should be pruned or removed and trees replanted..
The location, view and proximity to other facilities
The facilities of the hotel is wanting. The rooms were old and stale looking. The internet and TV service was poor
The only thing keeping this tired old facility alive is charter bus tours; if you are trevelling independently give this one a wide pass. The rooms are small, the bed old and uncomfortable, the winds blew in around the door so bad the baseboard heaters could not sustain a warm temperature (in June) and the food was the worst we encountered on a 21 day self directed vacation.
The rooms where clean but a bit dated, the location and restaurant at the hotel where excellent.
